Here is our monthly appointment with the most unexpected places. It may seem strange, but in the heart of the most popular areas of Naples, not far from the Botanical Gardens, there is a climb that arrives to the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory, close to the famous Royal Palace of Bourbon. At Portici, also a place of Royal Palaces and historic railways, the jetty of Granatello opens up to the eye, hugged by the view of the profile of Naples and the top of Vesuvius.
The fifth issue of the magazine 30 ranges from urban trekking to the most enchanting nature trails, such as that of Sperlonga in Vico Equense. From the sea view paths we then move to the green heart of Campania: the Irpinia. A wonderful place that, in addition to wine, hides very little gems to be discovered, such as the former Bourbon Prison of Montefusco or the Oasis Valle della Caccia of Senerchia, an heritage for safeguarding biodiversity.
Finally, as always, our journey continues through taste and culinary traditions. From the now famous pizza star, Ciro Oliva from Concettina ai Tre Santi, we go to the Campi Flegrei wines, between a glass of Piedirosso and one of Falanghina. Never before this time, let us drink to the beauties of this region.
