What does the cloister of a Longobard church have in common with the trekking trails that skim the Sorrento Peninsula? Or the enchanted treasures of the Campi Flegrei and the urban stairs that make Naples the “vertical city” par excellence?

The journey we will travel together in this fourth edition of the magazine 30, takes us from the banks of Massa Lubrense to the inland hills, on the top of San Costanzo Mountain. From here, with our curiosity as explorers, similar to a pair of binoculars, we will look at the village of Corricella, on the island of Procida, and to the volcanic soil of Monte Nuovo.

Paths on which to walk slowly, without frenzy, even when we are a stone’s throw from the city chaos. Have you ever been on the stairs of the Petraio, where Naples takes its spaces back? Here Naples looks like suspended in time and space, with the Vesuvius drawing the scenery.  A village in the metropolis, to be discovered every time you feel like it.

The Campania hinterland, from Bagnoli Irpino to Benevento, is the ideal goal of our journey. From which to leave, each month with more enthusiasm, to discover new precious jewels to see and tell.
