We approach this unique world, made up of flavours and aromas, through lively cooking classes in the home of a very nice Neapolitan cook.
The chef Alessandra Calvo proposes a new way of conceiving the cooking class. Her quality cuisine starts with the shopping: we will go to the market to learn how to recognize the freshness of fish and meat and buy carefully selected seasonal products. Immediately after Alessandra will host us at her home in the Posillipo district to prepare together the succulent dishes of Neapolitan tradition. Finally, we will taste dishes with excellent wine pairings. All in front of an unforgettable view of the Gulf of Naples.
A mother who is a chef school graduate and with a father who manages two restaurants, Alessandra Calvo can be considered a daughter of art. She attended internships in the kitchens of starred chefs from Campania such as Don Alfonso and Gennarino Esposito. With her association Soup, she supervises catering for major companies, organizes gastronomic (and cultural!) events and thematic evenings, whose hallmark is the originality in the creation of stands and special attention to the preparation of foods made especially with a view to tradition, with a touch of innovation in terms of aesthetics.
Her cooking is done with full and generous flavours, which requires time and patience, love and dedication. All items to pack away in your suitcase and take away as the best souvenir of Naples.
