Editorial
This issue of Trenta closes the summer and inaugurates the autumn, which this year immediately brought rain and cold. But we will continue to make you travel, between two different shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
We tell you about Sardinia, because this island with its wonderful sea must be lived and felt, as it is full of contradictions. The colorful sea of Cala Goloritzé contrasts with the high barren and whitish cliffs of the whole coast of Baunei, the southern offshoot of the Gulf of Orosei. In Gairo it still seems to hear the voices of the elderly who did not want to abandon the village destroyed by the floods. A trek to Asinara, on the other hand, is a dive into the most painful histories of Italy, but it is also a sign of how the life of each of us may change for the better with commitment and will.
And then the “Isola dei Cavoli”, one of the minor beauties of Sardinia, for fame of course, not for landscape. And on the other side of the Tyrrhenian is Naples, with its characteristic churches overlooking Capri, its lively flavors, and those few green corners where it is nice to take refuge to breathe and walk. We will take you for a walk between the Virgilian Park and the church of Santa Maria del Faro in Marechiaro, and once again you will fall in love with this city.
But the story of a place is also that of its food and this time we hope to win you over by telling you about two delights: papaccelle and pane carasau.
Enjoy the reading!
