18 months of 30 days. A year and a half in which we have shared with you the places, heritage, culture and traditions of a part of Italy that still has so much to tell us. This month we take you along the urban footpaths of the capital, in the Aniene Valley, where the concrete of Rome gives way to its wonderful naturalistic expanses.

Staying here, in Lazio, let's discover the route of the lakes of Bracciano, north of Rome; and the marvellous village of Sutri, teeming with Etruscan remains, in the undiscovered area of Tuscia. Even in the middle of winter, we cannot give up our sea: from the small fishing villages in the Sorrentine Peninsula to the fine sand of Berchidda in north-eastern Sardinia.

Paths that will remain impressed in the heart and mind of the traveller, who at this point will not be averse to a little refreshment. So there is room for two typical (and hearty) traditional Neapolitan dishes: zuppa forte, or soffritto (Neapolitan strong or fried soup), and pasta and potatoes with the addition of a 'pinch' of provolone cheese.

All that remains is to wish you... or rather, to wish ourselves bon voyage, in anticipation of finding ourselves back here, in 2021, with many more stories to tell.
