Legend has it that thirty gull or sea turtle eggs were found under the large rock overlooking the bay of Trentova. The name Trentova would therefore derive from this finding, since in Italian “trenta” (30) and “Trentova” have the same root. And this story also tells the intimate relationship between this splendid coastal corner and the animal kingdom that populates it.
